Ascend Cloud Solutions is looking for a Principal Network Infrastructure Architect. Could it be you?

Are you a cloud infrastructure architect looking for a job? Then look no further. Here at Ascend Cloud Solutions, we're on the lookout for a new specialist to join our team.

The job title is Principal Cloud Network Infrastructure Architect. That means you'll be building scalable, repeatable and service-agnostic network infrastructure. In doing so, you'll play a vital role in a team of experts with an international client base.

Who are we?

We're a cloud migration and consultancy firm based in Cork, Ireland. Our team consists of VMware cloud services experts, many of whom cut their teeth working at VMware itself.

We offer a range of migration and consultancy services in a wide variety of sectors and geographical locations. And though we say so ourselves, our company is a great place to work.

Who are we looking for?

Naturally, we're looking for someone with technical expertise and a background in cloud computing. You can get the nitty-gritty in our job spec
here. But we're also looking for someone with the right personal characteristics.

We believe that expertise alone isn't enough. You should be able to create solutions by testing, playing with and figuring out new technologies. And we need you to persist with seemingly intractable problems, take responsibility and ask for help when needed.

Why? Because these qualities are as important as your technical expertise when it comes to getting results.

If you're not a Corkonian, that's not a problem. The role is mostly remote – though we do ask that you attend meetings two to four times a month at our Cork HQ.

That's what we want from you. But what can you expect to get from us?

Why should you apply?

Look, no one likes a show-off. But Ascend Cloud Solutions is a team of experts. Don't just take our word for it – we've got the accreditations to prove it.

Our expertise centres on the VMware SDDC stack from top to bottom. We've managed more than 400 migrations and counting – and we offer external support to a range of clients. We see these services as an extension of our clients' internal teams. We're there to help clients get the results they're after.

Working with us, you can expect to be a valued member of the team. We want someone who will contribute ideas and share our positive, can-do attitude. Someone who will go the extra mile when confronted with a challenge. Someone who shares our passion for a puzzle and our taste for new technologies.

Ascend Cloud Solutions is a place where you can learn and grow, not to mention a place where you can benefit from our existing relationships with global partners. And it's a place where we prize mutual respect and camaraderie as much as technical wizardry.

So, if you want to be engaged, stretched and valued, you should seriously consider
